Thanks to all those who attended the AGM on Tuesday evening. Reports were presented on the year in general, including financial performance. Results of the election were announced with Wes Ramsay elected to a second term, and Joe Blondeau and Tyler Sharp elected to a first term. Minutes from the meeting are posted on the Member Dashboard. The club’s Governance Page has been updated with contact information for the 2026 Board of Directors. New committees will be struck when the new board meets in February.
Membership Dues
The office will be processing 2026 Membership Dues at the end of January for members who have not already paid or on monthly payments. Those members will see dues billed on account when they receive the January statement.
- The F&B Minimum (if applicable) is not billed a this time. F&B is billed at the end of March and payable in April.
- If you have a credit card on file for "balance clearing", dues are not cleared on that card unless requested
- There is a 2% fee added to payments made by credit card for membership dues only paid in full (not monthlies) and the online payment option (credit card based) is not available until after the April 1 dues payment deadline.
Membership Changes for the upcoming season can be made by contacting the general office. Email [email protected] or call 306-931-0022. Any changes that are made by January 28th will be reflected on your statement. Dues are payable April 1st. Members should note that the membership roster is managed by category with separate waitlists. Access to another category closer to the season may depend on availability.
A Monthly Payment Plan is available, which runs from November through October. Installments are billed to the member's account on or about the 15th day of each month, and payment is taken automatically from a credit card or bank account.
- February 7th is the deadline for existing members to switch to the monthly program.
- Enrollment for monthly billing anytime before the February 7th deadline requires a catch-up payment, and some paperwork to authorize the automatic monthly payment.
Junior Memberships: An email was sent to junior members last week, asking for confirmation of membership by January 28th. Interest in the program has generated a long waiting list for junior membership, and we would like to give those families and answer as soon as possible. Unconfirmed spots will be offered to the waitlist in February. If there are any SGCC Members (in any category) that want to add a new junior (child or grandchild) to the junior program, please contact the office as soon as possible.
