The spring warm-up is little slower than we want right now, but golf season is isn't far away when we date the Member Update for April 3rd.
Easter Brunch on Sunday will seat around 200 people with staggered sittings from 9:30 to 12:30. It will be a nice start for our Food & Beverage team as they get ready for the fuller opening. Our servers got together last night for a first round of training. Next week is another training night on Thursday, followed by Masters Watch Weekend on Saturday and Sunday. Full menu service starts on April 16th.
Watch for the annual SGCC Master’s Pool early next week. It’s a $20 online pool where participants choose one player from each of 6 groupings to form their team. Winners are determined by the lowest aggregate team score, and ties are broken by a winning score guess. Half of the proceeds go to the SGCC Junior Golf Program, while the other half is split among the top-3 finishers. More detail will be coming in Monday’s email.
Membership Fees were due on April 1st. If you haven’t paid yet, the club offers several convenient ways to pay including online banking and etransfers. The "online payment" module on our website is not available at this time, as there is a 2% fee to be added on membership fees paid by credit card. Please ensure that your dues are paid to confirm your spot the upcoming season, or let the office know if you don't plan on returning. The waitlist is still growing, with over 60 people between the Game-Pack, Young Professional, and Full Play Adult categories.
Our 4-for-3 Dozen Ball Promotion extends through next week on Titleist, Callaway, and TaylorMade balls. It's by far the best deal of the year if you want to get stocked up for the season. The Club Calendar has been updated with all club tournaments, league dates, and outside tournament bookings. Additional dining events will be added as they are planned.
New for 2026...Members can look forward to the launch of a new tee-time booking interface this year with improved functionality. A New SGCC App is also coming soon with new communication tools and user-friendly tee-time and event bookings. And finally, work has started on a website refresh to be launched later in the summer.
